About the EP[]
The EP features 3 tracks recorded between 2008 and 2010. Every track on the album was released as a free web single shortly after it was originally recorded. As with all Bread releases, the EP is very similar in sound to Fear Factory, blending industrial metal with various other metal genres. The first track, The Hunger Games, is an example of Demanufacture (1995) era Fear Factory with a thrash metal influence. The second track Catching Fire is similar to the sound Fear Factory had on the album Digimortal (2001). The final track, Mockingjay, is fast and brutal with a more death metal like sound but with clear industrial influence, similar to Fear Factory's album Mechanize (2010).
