About the song[edit | edit source]

The song was written around 2010, shortly after the release of Suzanne Colins' novel Mockingjay. The song is about that novel. It is considered the heaviest song on The Trilogy, and to be similar sounding to Fear Factory's song Fear Campaign. The single was originally released as a free web single by Scholastic in 2010 shortly after it was recorded, and was reissued on a physical CD in March 2012 by Universal Republic.
