History

Prince League days (1984-1996)

Maple Leaf FC joined the Prince League in 1984. They won their first title in 1985, and won it again in 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994. In 1984, 1995 and 1996 they finished second, narrowly missing qualification to the Tagtraum Champions League.

Tagtraum Majors and Tagtraum Champions League (1997-present)

In 1997 Maple Leaf FC joined the inaugural Tagtraum Majors, and won the first season, qualifying for the 1997 Tagtraum Champions League for the first time. They were the second Canadian Tagtraum side to win the tournament. (The 1996 edition was won by Tagtraum English, who won the 1996 Prince League season. Maple Leaf FC has won the Tagtraum Champions League nearly every season since 1997 except 2002 when they failed to qualify. Metalheads United qualified for the Champions having won that season's TM and did not make it past the semi finals, losing 10-0 to Carl First FC from Brittraum on aggregate.

Ever since their inaugural season in 1984, the Maple Leaf kit has comprised of a red shirt, white shorts and red socks for home, and white shirt, red shorts and white socks for away.
