Break up[]

In 2004 the drummer of East London Line was found dead from a stab wound just outside Shadwell DLR station. The remaining members of the band stated this is why East London Line broke up and a reunion is unlikely. However, it has been announced they will reform for a one off show in May 2012 at Alresford station in New Alresford, Hampshire playing alongside Alan Soupman's solo project, his other project Historisch, Oomph!, Carl and Subway to Sally. The band's temporary drummer for this show has not been announced.
